Call it seed, angel, early stage or even a Series A, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures wants to be part of the first $750,000 that goes into your company. Often times, that means we will invest along side angles and even other venture capital firms. Our typical bite size is $200-300k.
Technology Startups
Nearly all startups are leveraging technology in some way--either by selling it or by leveraging it to provide a service. The fund will look at nearly all areas of technology, except for anything that requires a scientist to understand--like biotech, semiconductors, etc.
The "Greater Brooklyn Area" (Focused on New York City)
Lots of people ask whether or not the fund will only invest in Brooklyn. The answer is no--the fund will generally invest all over New York City and its surrounding areas.
Value Add
An early stage investor should be doing a ton of work to help you build your company. When you say that you need to hire a developer, they should be supplying you with names, or trying to run a recruiting event with you to introduce your company to the technical community. They should be burning hours with you on product roadmap and putting you in front of potential business development partners and press contacts.

We aim to help build up an innovation ecosystem in Brooklyn and New York City at large as a participant, facilitator and a platform for others to connect and grow their ideas, as well as join others in progress with shared visions.
